Qbalamin NP is a combination of three medicines: Pregabalin , Nortriptyline and Methylcobalamin. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.
Nerve Pain (Neuropathic Pain)
Qbalamin NP is a combination of three medicines: Pregabalin , Nortriptyline and Methylcobalamin. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
COMPOSITION | Per serving (ml) |
---|---|
Pregabalin | 75mg (SR) |
Methylcobalain | 1500mcg |
Nortriptyline | 10mg |
Mecobalamin – Active form of Vit B12, Promotes the synthesis of lecithin the main constituent of myelin sheathand Promotes regeneration of the neurons
ALA- It is a natural antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals in the body and protects cells from damage
Chromium Picolinate- Increases insulin binding increases receptor
Pyridoxine- it is needed for the formation of the myelin sheath and also acts as a coenzyme in metabolism of neurotransmitters
Nicotinamide or Niacin- Essential for glucose metabolism. Niacin is important to provide energy for proper nerve functioning.
Calcium Pantothenate – Essential for synthesis of acetylcholine a neurotransmitter
Folic acid- Folic acid is required for the proper metabolism of the essential amino acid methionine to homocysteine and play an important role in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerotic vascular disease
Qbalamin NP is used to treat certain types of long-lasting pain caused by damage to nerves.
Do not use rosuvastatin if you are pregnant. It could harm the unborn baby.
You should not take rosuvastatin if you have liver disease, or if you breastfeeding a baby.
One tablet once daily
